Capturing images utilizing a large ISO setting – like taking photos at night or shooting indoors always causes a lot of noise in your photos. Color noise is the other type of noise that you will always find on High ISO photos. It can include specks of irregular colors that mostly appear in the shadow sections of high ISO shots.

You do not require to move the color slider far off because it quickly removes color in the photo. The detail slider located below the color slider works almost similar to how it works in luminous noise reduction.

The variation is that the slider begins in the center. Move it to the left to blur some of the details and to the right to keep more image details. A smoothness slider can be used to determine the extent of smoothness in a photo when applying noise reduction. Move it to the left to remove some smoothness and to the right to enhance the smoothness.

Black and White Image Noise Reduction

It is advisable to change the images that have been captured under extremely low light conditions to black and white. Similar concepts as the ones described above are utilized to reduce noise to black and white photos. But you will not observe the color noise in the pictures because the color has already been isolated.
